TESTING METHOD

5 identical channel letters are manufactured to same specifications in regard to materials. The same acrylic is utilized in each letter face.

Each LED system is installed in to the channel letter “A” according to published manufacturer’s recommendations. Each channel letter is tested for brightness utilizing a lux meter. Measurement/Readings are taken at the same location, on the acrylic face, for each channel letter and LED product. Ambient lighting in the lab room were turned off and meter placed directly on to the channel letter faces for testing purposes.
